IX International Conference “Oil and fat branch: technology and the market”

The conference was organized by an information agency “Expert-Agro” with the support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, associations “Ukroliyaprom”, of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences.
U focus of the conference – question, related to the effective functioning of the oil and fat industry in conditions of a deep economic crisis, namely, the introduction of advanced technologies, that contribute to increasing profitability and minimizing losses in the production process, improving the quality of finished products to expand sales markets in European countries, modern methods of quality control at all stages of the technological process.
Target audience: specialists of enterprises of the oil and fat industry and related branches of the food industry, trading companies, employees of scientific research institutes and educational institutes of food fields, suppliers of food ingredients, dyes and additives, manufacturers of equipment and packaging for the oil and fat industry, bodies of standardization and metrology. Traditionally, the target audience of the conference was represented closely 50% specialists of the processing sector, 35% – suppliers of technological equipment and, 10% and more – suppliers of equipment for production laboratories.
in addition, this year, the Odesa National Academy of Food Technology was represented at the conference by two graduate students department of milk technology, fats and perfumery and cosmetic products Olga Oleksandrivna Kurenkova and Makovska Tetyana Valentynivna. Olga Oleksandrivna Kurenkova delivered a report on the topic: “Optimizing recipes of spreads with a balanced fatty acid composition”, and Tetyana Valentynivna Makovska – “Low-calorie mayonnaise technology, enriched with complexes of synbiotics”.
ADDITIONALLY, CONFERENCES were presented in the program:
– specialized exposition "Resources of the oil and fat industry" – an event to expand information, advertising and communication opportunities;
– DEMO hall "Laboratory equipment of the enterprise" – an event to visualize and increase the informativeness of the advertising campaign.
International Forum of Cosmetics Ukraine 2016
Published: June 4, 20161-2 June 2016 year an important event in the field of perfumery and cosmetics industry took place – the first International Forum of Cosmetics Ukraine 2016.
Introduction Association “Perfumery and cosmetics of Ukraine" annual International Forum of Cosmetics Ukraine is a special event for the cosmetic industry of Ukraine, which provides an opportunity to reach a new level of discussion of topical issues of the industry not only in the field of technical regulation, standardization, requirements for the safety and effectiveness of cosmetic products, as well as issues of education of young specialists and their preparation for work in modern production.For the first Conference within the framework of the Forum, the competent authorities were involved in the discussion, scientists, specialists and experts in the field for a unified understanding of the issues and determination of the shortest way to solve them. On the threshold of significant changes in the regulation of the cosmetics industry in Ukraine, there is a need to create expert environments on issues of assessing the safety of cosmetics, introduction of alternative methods of testing and control to increase the responsible attitude towards the Ukrainian consumer.
The first day of the Conference was devoted to Technical regulation in the EU and the implementation of European legislation in Ukraine. The main speakers on this topic were:: John Chave, CEO of COSMETICS EUROPE The Personal Care Association and Oleksandr Pavlenko, ex-deputy Minister of Health. The settlement of the issue of Technical regulation of cosmetics is the most relevant for the cosmetic market of Ukraine.
A separate issue on the agenda of the Conference was the holding Discussion panel on provision of raw materials (denatured ethyl alcohol) Ukrainian manufacturers, that produce alcohol-containing cosmetic products and perfumery. Mykola Moroz took part in a constructive dialogue on this issue, Director of the Department of Food and Lyudmila Khomichak, deputy director of the department, head of the Excise Department of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In the section “Green Cosmetics” European experience in the field of organic and natural cosmetics was considered, realities of today's Ukraine: Technical regulation and features of certification. Representatives of international certification centers presented their reports Ecogrouppo Italy and ICEA.
Within the framework of the Forum Cosmetics Ukraine was held Exhibition of producers of raw materials and packaging, which was organized at the request of a Ukrainian cosmetics manufacturer and became a new platform for monitoring problematic issues in the industry. Contract sites for the production of cosmetics in Ukraine were presented by such companies: Acme color, Mainpac, Elfa Pharm, Alliance of beauty, Galterra, Vexhold aromatics.
Special attention should be paid to the section “Job fair”, during the work of which it was possible to establish connections between specialized higher educational institutions and the main manufacturers, importers, suppliers of raw materials, components and packaging materials, to increase the level of knowledge of teachers and students regarding innovations in production, legislation, conducting research and examinations. Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, namely the department of milk technology, fats and perfumery and cosmetic products, represented: Ph.D., Docent Sevastyanova Olena Volodymyrivna and Art. teacher Kotlyar Yevhenii Oleksandrovych.

Published: May 18, 201615 April 2016 year passed in ONAKHT traditional tourist crossing along the "Health" route. Students of the first and second years of ONAKHT with their curators became the participants of the tourist crossing along the seashore with the end point at the beach "Chkalovsky". The campaign was held under the motto "Give up the cigarette - go on a campaign", during which participants gladly exchanged cigarettes for candy as a symbol of transition to a healthier lifestyle.
The tourist trip continued on the beach "Chkalovskyi" with a competition and entertainment program, which included sports competitions and relay races, tug of war, swimming of "walruses" and demonstration performances. The competitive part of the event ended with a congratulatory speech by the deans of the faculties and the vice-rector for educational work, O.M. Kananikhina., awarding of winners in all nominations and awarding of prizes. The event was facilitated by very nice sunny warm weather, therefore, a cheerful positive mood accompanied all those present. Thank you to all students, teachers and guests for active participation!
