Discussion Panel “Dairy Products, Unique oils, Natural cosmetics: Modern technologies, Quality and safety ”within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Technologies of food products and compound feed”

25 September in the framework of International scientific and practical conference "Technology of food products and compound feed" Department of Milk Technology, oil and fat products and the beauty industry organized a series of events.

10:00–16:00 — exhibition and tasting

An exhibition with tasting of dairy products was held in the hall of building A, craft oils and natural cosmetics. The event gathered teachers, students of ONTU and colleges. We especially note the active participation of students and teachers of MTFC ONTU.

They presented their products:

  • TOV "Gormolzavod" (dairy products),
  • JV "Vitmark-Ukraine" (dairy products),
  • FOP "Oleum imperium" (craft oils),
  • TOV "Remos" (cosmetic products),
  • TM "KOiKO" (craft cheeses),
  • TOV "Lustdorf" (dairy products).

It continued in parallel volunteer action — collection of aid for the Armed Forces, in particular for wounded soldiers, who are treated in the hospital.

Excursion for college students

College students visited the laboratories of the Department of Milk Technology, oil and fat products and the beauty industry, got acquainted with modern equipment and areas of scientific research.

14:00–16:30 — discussion panel

In the afternoon, a discussion panel was held with the participation of scientists and business representatives. Reports were delivered in Ukrainian and English.

  3. Lukashchuk Anatoliy Vasyliovych, chief technologist of LLC "NVO Lactol International" — «Hurdle technologies in the production of fermented milk products»;
  4. Viktoriya Viktorivna Yasenivka, co-owner of PJSC "Ichnyansky Dry Milk and Butter Plant" — "Potential of A2 dairy products in Ukraine: the experience of PJSC "Ichnyansky Plant of Dry Milk and Butter"";
  5. Oleksandr Petrovych Bartsytskyi, head of the quality department of Lustdorf LLC — "A consistently high-quality and safe product is the basis for the buyer and the future for the company";
  6. Nataliya Andriivna Tkachenko, Dr. Tech. of science, professor, ONTU — "Directions of scientific developments of the department of TMOZHPtaIK ONTU. Prospects for the development of scientific research within the framework of a scientific school in cooperation with business";
  7. Radionova Iryna Oleksandrivna, chief manager for recruitment and personnel development of JV "Vitmark-Ukraine" — "Features of the production of JV "Vitmark-Ukraine"";
  8. Artem Volodymyrovych Rodionov, the founder of Oleum Imperium LLC — "Production of craft oils using cold pressing technology";
  9. Mariana Tarasivna Ovcharuk, director of cosmetic production "Soap Stories" — "From the idea to the opening of craft production of herbal cosmetics";
  10. Duka Tamara Oleksiivna, director of production development LLC "VP Vilnius milk factory" — "Production of dairy products in the front-line zone".

The day was a confirmation of that, that the joint work of science, business and education is the key to the development of the food industry of Ukraine. The event united students, scientists and manufacturers, creating a platform for dialogue and new ideas.
