Student review-competition of culinary art "Kitchens of the Nations of the World" – 03.10.14

Department of milk technology, fats and perfumery and cosmetic products 3 held a COOKING COMPETITION in October "Cuisines of the peoples of the world", which took place in a student dormitory.

Organized and prepared by the assistant of the department of milk technology, fats and perfumes and cosmetics Kotlyar E.O. manager of the TM-24 group, and the curators of the groups of the Department of Milk Technology helped in the organization and conduct of the competition, fats and perfumery and cosmetic products: associate professor Chabanova O.B., associate professor Dyudina I. A., docent Dec N.O.

Students participated in the competition 1,2 and 3 TM-13 courses, TM-23, TM-24 and TM-33, respectively. When preparing for this event, the group members carefully studied history, traditions and of course, peculiarities of the national cuisine of that people, dishes that were presented. I would especially like to note the presenters - students Sladka Lyubava Mykhailivna and Donchenko Valeriya Valeriivna – they set the spirit and tone of the entire event.DSC_1515

Dear jury, which was headed by the head of the department of milk technology, of fats and perfumery-cosmetic products, Professor Natalya Andriivna Tkachenko, skillfully and fundamentally evaluated the competition according to the following criteria: appearance and coherence of team members, design and taste of dishes, serving and presentation, as well as the show as a whole.

In addition to the main competition, competitions on the importance of food products were offered, intelligence and quick reaction. In the contest, the competition is to see who can lay out cards with the names of food products faster and more accurately, Harmful to the children's body, Nadiya Oleksandrivna's Children's team won, in addition, they received the certificate "the best culinary masterpiece".

Wards of Kotlyar E.O. were the first, acting as the heroine of the famous fairy tale Cinderella, sifting through the cereal and making a "necklace" of macaroni.

Of course, the main competition was the most interesting and exciting, during which the participants tried to show the culinary art of preparing national dishes and drinks of those countries, who represented. They also demonstrated skill in setting the table, shone with erudition and culinary talent.

The first place deservedly went to the group, supervised by associate professor Iryna Anatoliivna Dyudina. These participants managed to overtake their rivals and present Hungarian cuisine in a worthy manner. The prize for the third-year students was a very large spoon and a diploma.

The second were the wards of associate professor Chabanova O.B., who represented Ukrainian cuisine. The jury really liked their dumplings. They received a prize for second place - a medium spoon and a letter. The group was in third place, which is overseen by the assistant Kotlyar Yevhenii Oleksandrovych. This team demonstrated French cuisine. Their cream soup was not inferior to the two first prize winners. As a well-deserved award, they received a prize — a small spoon and a diploma.

The spirit of healthy competition, the atmosphere of friendliness and ease overwhelmed all participants and spectators. In this situation, even the members of the jury could not resist. Head of the Department of Milk Technology, of fats and perfumery-cosmetics Tkachenko Natalya Andriivna took part in the concert program. The audience rewarded her with long applause for the performance of the song.

I would like to express my special gratitude to the organizers and participants of the competition, as: head of the dormitory Nikul O.N., group manager, students of TM groups - 13, TM – 23, TM-24, TM – 33.

Preparing your dishes and the event as a whole, they did not forget to "throw" a little love into them, a little good, a drop of joy, a slice of tenderness, a large portion of Odessa joke. And all this added lightness to the event, casualness, and most importantly, enjoyment. We will believe, that all this will unite student groups even more, will help in education and everyday life. And it is important, that all participants of the review-competition touched art. The great A. Morois claimed: "Like painting and music, and cuisine is an art. The painting is eye-catching, music is hearing, and cooking is taste". It is the representatives of our famous food university who are obliged to master this art in perfection.
