At the department of milk technology, fats and perfumery and cosmetic products 24 March 2017 of the year, a joint curatorial hour was held, dedicated to T.G. Shevchenko's birthday.

The purpose of the event – education of patriotism through the works of Shevchenko the poet and Shevchenko the artist, students' knowledge of the figure of the Great Kobzar, relevance of his work; education of love for the native land, awakening of national self-awareness, patriotic upbringing and development of a sense of pride for one's people, Motherland. Students of TM-33 group took part in the event, TM-34 and curators - Chabanova O.B., Dyudina I.A. and Makovska T.V.

On the holiday, students read a lot of Shevchenko's poems. Among them “Catherine”, “Caucasus”, “Will”, “Kobzar” and “Dream”, in addition, interesting facts from the poet's life were told, and also mentioned him artistic talent. A solemn atmosphere reigned in the auditorium, full of sentiments of respect and love for the brilliant artist, unsurpassed a poet indeed, a great man, who with her life gave a real example of life and struggle for the independence and will of Ukraine. At the end of the celebration of the united curatorial hour, those present took part in traditional Ukrainian treats – dumplings with potatoes and sour cream and uzvar, prepared by students Anastasiya Zasidkevich and Mozhova Marina.

The organizer of the event is Patriocelebration of the memory of T.G. Shevchenko was a TM-34 group under the leadership of the curator Tetyana Valentynivna Makovskaya.
